What a magic day at Townsville Grammar School (junior campus).
I got to talk to the kids about being an author/illustrator and we even did a mini workshop on the creative process behind writing a picture book.
I now have a new idea to pursue and get finished…thanks kids!!!

The Floods in Townsville 2019 were epic!
Who would have thought that then 6 year old Pearl Lenahan would turn that experience in to a beautifully illustrated picture book.
I am so stoked to have received my copy today.
It just goes to show you are never to young to follow your passion.
Congratulations Pearl, what a wonderful achievement.
And congratulations to Ian McIntosh for guiding Pearl through the process of getting published. Job well done
